Crochet Yoda Hat

It's not very often these days that I get to make custom orders for people. I've been so busy lately working on my Under The Sea Blanket but I decided to take a quick break last night to work on something different.

How awesome is this Yoda Hat?

I do have my own pattern for one here

but the picture I was shown had different ears so I used this ear pattern from Stitch11 on a simple hdc beanie. I didn't use a specific pattern for this as I always make my beanies from this chart now

This way I don't have to measure a gauge. Simply increase the circle until it measures the flat circle diameter as given in the chart. Then continue to hdc around until the hat is the height you want it. Easy as that.

  1. I miss doing this, crocheting is one of my fave past time. I like what you did here, I can use the pattern for the coming Halloween and for my niece who loves Star Wars. But I have to read this first before I can start crocheting as I have to finish my paper, AdvancedWriters review so far their reviews are negative, I might need to search for other writing agencies.
